Overview

The ultimate Na Pali Coast Zodiac tour will transport you to another time and place. Nuʻalolo Kai, an ancient Hawaiian fishing village tucked beneath the dramatic cliffs of Na Pali, was not only chosen for its breathtaking natural beauty but also served as a vital hub for commerce and trade in ancient Kauaʻi.

This Na Pali Coast beach landing adventure is accessible only by permitted boats. The village, its beach, and its vibrant tropical reef—home to some of the best snorkeling on Kauaʻi—offer an extraordinary glimpse into the island's rich history and culture. Capt Andy's holds these special Na Pali beach landing permits, giving you rare access to explore this remarkable site through guided tours of its restored archaeological treasures and snorkeling in the pristine waters that once sustained its community. Your journey also includes awe‑inspiring sea caves, cascading waterfalls, and encounters with marine life, all aboard custom 24‑foot rigid‑hull rafts. A gourmet picnic lunch and beverages add the perfect touch to this unforgettable adventure.

IMPORTANT: This is a physically demanding, high-adrenaline adventure—not a casual cruise! Riders must be in excellent physical condition to join. We welcome adventurous guests as young as 6. Pregnant guests and those with back, neck, or mobility issues cannot participate. Ocean conditions may limit access to certain caves or snorkeling, but every trip is unforgettable! Elderly or frail passengers should strongly consider our Star Yachts as a less physically strenuous alternative. The Captain reserves the right to refuse boarding at any time to anyone whose health and safety could be at risk. Ready for the ride of a lifetime? Let’s go!

Itinerary

Join us on an incredible 5.5 to 6-hour expedition down Kauai's world-famous Na Pali Coast, darting in and out of sea caves, plunging under cascading waterfalls, and taking in the dramatic peaks and majestic valleys of Na Pali Coast. Land on a remote beach, Nualolo Kai, for hiking, snorkeling, and a delicious deli lunch. An early departure virtually ensures an encounter with a massive pod of Hawaiian Spinner dolphins that can be found along the Kauai coastline most mornings.

Facilities

The rafts are smaller (24'), faster, and allow you to explore the sea caves. You cannot walk around on the rafts, and they are bouncy, wet, and wild adventures without restrooms or shade onboard. The vessel is a military-grade rigid-hull inflatable raft, and passengers sit side-saddle on the inflated sides of the raft. Rafts have three high-back seats at the rear of the boat, used as relief seating on a rotating basis. Passengers are not guaranteed a relief seat for the entire raft trip and should consider a catamaran tour if more supportive seating is needed.

Restrooms are available before departure at the raft harbor. Raft tours offer "swim stops" upon request.

What to Bring

Wear your swimsuit and bring a towel, reef-safe sunscreen, and water bottle (mahalo for helping us eliminate single-use plastic). We suggest bringing a light jacket, sunglasses, and a waterproof camera or phone for photos. You won't wear shoes on board, but sandals or easy-to-remove shoes make boarding smoother.

If you’re prone to motion sensitivity, take precautions before boarding.
